How the service works, who's responsible, and what's expected.
Company & jurisdiction
Anitarian is operated by Anitarian, registered in British Columbia, Canada. These terms are governed by British Columbia law with exclusive jurisdiction in British Columbia, Canada courts.
Core service features
The platform offers AI chat and assistant capabilities, document analysis, search functionality, and workflow automation tools with a fundamental commitment to Canadian data residency. AI inference runs on Canadian infrastructure by default and routes to EU partners only when capacity is exceeded.
Content & ownership
Users retain ownership of submitted content. Anitarian commits to not training AI models on user data without your explicit, opt-in consent — this is a core privacy commitment. Output generated through the service belongs to users.
Account & security
Users must maintain accurate account information, use strong passwords, and enable multi-factor authentication. The company permits both individual and organization accounts, with organization administrators responsible for user compliance.
Prohibited uses
- Generating harmful content.
- Illegal activities.
- Service abuse.
- High-risk applications without appropriate safeguards (e.g., autonomous weapons, medical diagnosis without human oversight).
Payment & cancellation
Subscriptions are billed in Canadian dollars with 30-day notice required for price changes. Users can cancel anytime, effective at the billing period's end.
Liability
Anitarian's total liability is capped at the greater of the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or CAD $500, excluding consequential damages.
