FAQ
Questions & answers.
Everything you need to know about Anitarian, data sovereignty, and compliance.
Where is my data stored?
All accounts, content, and conversation history live on Canadian infrastructure — prompts, documents, outputs, and metadata. AI inference runs on Canadian hardware by default.
Is Anitarian subject to the US CLOUD Act?
No. There is no US parent company, no US investors, and no US infrastructure providers in the data path. There is no legal pathway for US authority access to your stored content.
What AI models does Anitarian use?
Birch (flagship, 256k context, mixture-of-experts) and Cedar (fast everyday, 128k context). Both are bilingual EN/QC FR.
Does Anitarian help with CPCSC compliance?
Yes. Our architecture eliminates AI tooling as a compliance gap. Security documentation packages are included for procurement reviews.
What about Quebec's Law 25?
A Canadian-only architecture eliminates the cross-border data flow documentation requirements that complicate Privacy Impact Assessments under Law 25.
How does Anitarian compare to ChatGPT or Claude?
Competitive capability for the workflows that matter to Canadian teams — with full data sovereignty and tuning for Canadian law and Quebecois French.
Can I use Anitarian for defence work?
Yes. Zero US touchpoints, CPCSC-ready architecture, full audit trails, and security documentation built for procurement.
What languages are supported?
Full bilingual English and Quebecois French — both interface and AI outputs, with authentic terminology rather than literal translation.
What does it cost?
Free tier (50 messages/day, no credit card). Pro $20/mo. Max $80/mo. Enterprise custom. All prices in CAD.
Can I try it before committing?
Yes. The free tier requires no credit card. The Legal product offers a 14-day trial on all plans.
Is my data used to train models?
No. Your data is never used for training, fine-tuning, or model improvement. This is an architectural boundary, not a policy bullet.
Do you have an API?
Yes. The API is OpenAI-compatible — change the base URL and API key in your existing OpenAI SDK setup. See Developers.
